The teachers’ cafeteria has a complete makeover. It is now decorated with white and gray accents with a hint of Curtis’ signature maroon color. A variety of seating arrangements are available, including couches, coffee tables, stools, and tall tables. 

There is a large screen TV  mounted on the wall. The teachers’ cafeteria added some new entertainment as well including a basketball shootout game, a foosball table, and air hockey. 

For teachers, this room is a way to relax after a long day of teaching. While some teachers and staff have said they ignored the games, others said the games help build bonds among the staff and even completely change the vibe of the room. One of the statements that was really compelling was a staff member claiming that it helps as an alternative to being on your phone, as phone addictions are an issue here at Curtis.
