Renovations provides new space for science programs

If you had any classes in room B4 you may have noticed that you have been moved to the second floor, this is because B4 has been converted to a marine science and robotics team room. All the desks bolted to the floor have been disassembled and disposed of. The floor has been retiled, the only thing that remains of the original room is the teacher’s desk in the front and the whiteboard. In place of the original furniture, Room B4 now has rolling tables and a large cabinet in the back for storing various robot parts. There is also an obstacle course where the robotics team goes to practice for upcoming competitions. Overall the robotics team is happy with the room. The teams supervisor, Mr Scheffler said, “I’m really impressed with the room, it came out great!” When asked if there’s anything the team would like to change one team member, Lena Sylvester, responded, “I’m happy with the room, I don’t think there’s anything we should change.” The rest of the team echoed Lena’s sentiment.
