On February 7, Dorothy Wiese became the seventh person in her family to shoot over 1,000 basketball points. She joined a long line of family members who’ve accomplished this goal, including her mom, three aunts, and two cousins. In general, there is a long history of 1,000-point scorers that are produced by the Wiese-Guerriero-Mitchell families. Despite having a remote freshman and sophomore year, Dorothy accomplished this feat with the support of her friends and family, joining the extensive list of achievers.
