In their latest endeavor, Diana Nguyen and Julia Luppino have started a new business. Their business, The Little Jewelry Shoppe, produces hand-made jewelry.  Their motivation for starting the business was to save up for college in a way that was creative and fun.  “This was an outlet for our artistic talent,” said Luppino.

“We’re trying to express ourselves and save up for college. It’s nice to see people appreciate our hard work,” adds Nguyen.

The typical jewelry The Little Jewelry Shoppe makes tends to be themed around desserts. Additionally, minimalistic designs that are aesthetically pleasing are produced. The earrings produced by The Little Jewelry Shoppe sell for three dollars per pair. Besides those, The Little Jewelry Shoppe takes custom requests. On that matter, Nguyen said, “we do it but it costs more than the ones we sell normally, the price depends on what our customers request.”

So far, the customers who bought jewelry from The Little Jewelry Shoppe are pleased with their products. Ms. Rodriguez, head of the Art Club, exclaims, “I got Blueberry Cheesecake earrings. I love them! I can’t wait to buy more!”

To expand their business, The Little Jewelry Shoppe will soon sell online. In the meantime, they will continue their current operations of selling through local contacts. There are multiple ways to contact The Little Jewelry Shoppe. Diana Nguyen said, “We have a Facebook Page, The Little Jewelry Shoppe. Email us at  [email protected] or just look for Julia or me.”
