Colgate Women’s Games empower female athletes.

A celebration of female athletes, Colgate Women’s Games has been a mecca for track and field athletes for the past 41 years. These series of races are held at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. This celebration has been apart of Curtis tradition for as long as anyone can remember.

The participants range from age 6 to 30 split into six divisions. There are eight events: shot put, high jump, 1500-meter run, 400-meter run, 200-meter run, 800-meter run, 55-meter dash, and 55-meter hurdles.

The 42 members of the girls track team travel to Brooklyn for four Fridays during the winter to compete in these events, with finals and semi finals on Saturdays.
